The Excelsior Springs School District currently has a job opening for a paraprofessional in the Missouri Preschool Program at Westview Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year.
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
- Must have 60 college credit hours. 6 of the hours must be in child development related classes (Transcripts must be attached to application)
- Willing to attend paraprofessional workshops as required.
The goal of this position is to assist the teacher to achieve teaching objectives by working with individual students or small groups. To establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members and to assist with helping students achieve skill levels to the best of the individual student’s ability.
