The Excelsior Springs School District currently has a Special Education paraprofessional position opening. This postion will work with students who have intensive needs.
Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
- Must have 60 college credit hours or
- Have passed the Paraprofessional Assessment (via Pearson – MEGA)
The goal of this position is to assist the teacher to achieve learning objectives by working with individual students or small groups. To establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members and to assist with helping students achieve skill levels to the best of the individual student’s ability.
