POSITION TITLE: Speech Language Pathologist

F.L.S.A. Exempt Professional

REPORTS TO: Building Administrator or Director of Student Services 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1.  CCC-SLP preferred; however, CFY candidates will be accepted

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  New teachers 177 days; returning teachers 174 days, with benefits provided according to the Excelsior Springs School District.  This is a full-time position and in addition to salary, all certified SLP’s receive a $4,000 annual stipend.

 

JOB GOAL:

Provide assessment and services to students

Review charts to improve SLP services

Coordinate with Special Education Directors, faculty, and staff

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Evaluations and general speech services
  2. Attend staff/District meetings as needed
  3. Other duties assigned by administrator
